The Hotel is located within the city limits of Memphis, approximately 25 miles from downtown and easily accessible to several of the most popular attractions such as the world-famous Beal Street Entertainment District, Memphis Zoo, Mud Island, Pink Palace Museum, Civil Rights Museum, Memphis Motor Sports Park, Graceland and the IMAX Theater. The Hotel honors the heritage of Mr. Kemmons Wilson, Sr., founder of the first Holiday Inn® chain of hotels, by displaying historical images along with a few of the original furnishings from the first Holiday Inn Hotel®. The Property has a lobby and reception area, gift shop, guest laundry facilities, vending machines (soda/ice), safe deposit boxes, an on-site restaurant and lounge, approximately 2,000 square feet of meeting space and approximately 1,700 square feet of pre -function space; business center with WiFi Internet access and audio visual rental. The Hotel has an indoor and outdoor heated pool, and fitness center. The Property offers 133 guestrooms including 20 two-room suites with separate living and bedroom areas. Guestrooms include ergonomic work space, in-room hair dryer, full size ironing board and iron, coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave. Guestrooms include lush bedding and a pillow “menu”, 32” HD televisions, granite vanities and enhanced amenities such as DVD player and MP3 player. The Property is a nonsmoking facility.
