Hotel AG Announces Call for Offers on the Norfolk Country Inn & Suites
Hotel Assets Goup is announcing a call for offers for the Norfolk Country Inn & Suites in Norfolk, Nebraska. The call for offers will be held on May 17, 2016.
The Norfolk Country Inn & Suites is situated in the heart of Elkhorn Valley, located 112 miles northwest of Omaha, Nebraska; 121 miles north of Lincoln, Nebraska; and 75 miles southwest of Sioux City, Iowa. Norfolk is 15 miles from the City of Madison (also the county seat of Madison County). The hotel is located within five miles of downtown Norfolk, Elkhorn Valley Museum, Johnny Carson Theater, Northeast Community College, and Ta Ha Zouka Park. Other local attractions include Ashfalls Fossil Beds, Cuthills Vineyards, Lake Maskenthine, Willow Creek State Park, dirt track racing at Rivera Raceway, and Wayne State College. Area businesses and major demand generators include Apache Manufacturing, Affiliated Foods Distributing, Nucor Cold Finish, Vulcraft Cold Finish, Norfolk Iron and Metal, Appeara Textiles, Andrews Van Lines, and Nebraska Public Power - to name a few. Norfolk has a variety of shopping and dining options.
The Property has 125 guestrooms, however one guestroom is being used as an office for housekeeping, and another has been converted to a fitness center; thus bringing the total of rentable guestrooms to 123. NOTE: There are approximately 15 guestrooms in building C that are currently out of service due to water damage. These guestrooms have been out of order for an extended period of time.
The Property consist of four buildings referenced as buildings A, B, C and D. Building A is a one story, interior corridor building; and buildings B, C, and D, are two-story, exterior corridor buildings. A courtyard lies within the four buildings and contains an outdoor pool, landscaped areas, and a patio to the on -site restaurant. Building A, the gatehouse, contains the public facilities, lobby and breakfast area, Bailey’s Restaurant and Lounge, the administrative offices and business center. Buildings B,C and D house the guestrooms and back of house space such as the utility rooms and housekeeping laundry and closets. The fitness center is located in Building D. Back-of-house space consists of the front desk and office space, laundry room with commercial washers and dryers, storage closets for housekeeping storage, telecommunications equipment, maintenanceoffice/administrativeofficeandgeneralstorage. WiFi is available in public areas and all guestrooms. The second level exterior walkways are linked from one building to another. The Hotel offers guest laundry facilities, business center, on-site restaurant and lounge, vending areas and complimentary extended continental breakfast. Building B is said to be in the best condition relative to case goods and renovations including updated bathrooms. Guestrooms in building C and D have not been updated. All guestrooms include standard amenities with microwaves and refrigerators available upon request, flat screen televisions, high speed internet, and coffee maker. The Property sits on approximately 4.03 acres with an approximate total gross building area of 43,660 square feet.
